LeFleur evolved from a small limousine business in 1983, and today serves as a full-service transportation company. LeFleur began operations with three limousines serving the Jackson, Mississippi area. After a few years, LeFleur began its sedan service. This service, the first of its kind in Jackson, utilized sedans for airport transfers, corporate accounts and other special trip services.

In addition, LeFleur expanded into 15-passenger van transportation services, serving area hotels, travel agencies and corporations.

LeFleur Transportation was formed after recognition of a need for safe and dependable transportation services for public and /or quasi-public agencies that provide transportation services to low income, handicapped and elderly persons in Mississippi. LeFleur was one of the first private sector companies to recognize this need, and this market segment grew to comprise the majority of LeFleur's revenue.
