As LeFleur searched for new ways to improve the quality and efficiency of our operations, it became apparent that a custom software solution was a necessity in order to deliver the level of service that our clients demand. Therefore, we partnered with Trapeze Software, a leading transportation software provider. Our management team worked closely with Trapeze during the development of their new MT (Medical Transportation) product. After successful beta testing in our San Antonio office, Trapeze MT was implemented in our operations across the country.

The transition to a data driven operation allows for more effective management of clients, reservations, and available field resources. Our office staff has more information at their fingertips, allowing them to provide a higher level of customer service. In addition to the provision of comprehensive information, the system combines web based mapping technology with sophisticated algorithms to automate many of the scheduling tasks. Dispatchers now have more time to evaluate accuracy and efficiency of future schedules and monitor the live operation.

Continuing the trend of cutting edge technology, LeFleur implemented a new Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) product that merges the sophistication of Trapeze software with the extensive communication network of Nextel. This has proved to be a cost effective way to monitor on time performance and track vehicle locations in real time.
